EAP is a voluntary Employee Assistance Program that offers FREE counseling and confidential sessions for III-A members and their families.

Simple, Confidential Process:

  • Choose a provider from the III-A EAP Provider Directory OR from the Blue Cross of Idaho Provider In-network list*
  • Schedule your first appointment
  • No prior authorization is required
  • Members, spouses, and dependents are eligible to receive 10 counseling sessions, per incident, per calendar year at no cost!
  • It’s OK to ask for help!

If you are looking for a mental health provider for a child 17 or under, you can utilize Blue Cross of Idaho’s In-network Providers, and there will also be no co-pay.

Shift Wellness – III-A Mental Health Partner

 

  • Dr. Stephen Odom, PhD is a 30-year first responder and healthcare mental health expert. Dr. Odom is the CEO of First Responder Wellness and Shift Wellness as well as The Counseling Team International (TCTI).
  • III-A partnered with Shift Wellness/First Responder Wellness in 2020 to create our Mental Health Program.
  • Senior staff at Shift Wellness are dedicated to answering the First Responder and Family Helpline.
  • All III-A First Responder providers are rigorously vetted by the Shift Wellness team.
  • Shift Wellness provides on-site mental health training for III-A agencies. Training topics/trainings may be requested at any time.
